春休み

春休みは　たのしくて、よかったですよ。　休みに、 フィラデルフィアに　よくいきます。　私は　兄のうちに　とまっていました「stayed」。　フィラデルフィアは　大きいまちです。　私は　たいいくかんに　いったり、レストランで　おいしい　食べものを　たべたり、兄の友だちに　会ったりしました。たいいくかんで　バスケットボールを　しました。元気な人が　たくさんいました。　そして、　兄の家で　兄とゲームを　しました。　なまえは　フィーファ「FIFA」です。ゲームの中で、フィーファが　一番好きです。おもしろいゲームです。それから、日曜日に　プリンストンに　帰りました。

たべものやのみもの

　　　　たべものの中で　おすしが　一番　好きです。　おすしは　とても　おいしくて、　いいです。　ときどき　おすしの　レストランに　いきます。サクラメントに　おすし　レストランが　あります。　なまえは　「Arigato Sushi」。　「Arigato Sushi」は小さいが、　食べものは　とても　安いです。　それから、　のみものの中で　水が　一番　好きです。　そして、　よく　ミルクを　のみます。　でも    ミルクより　水の方が　けんこうです。　水は　高くないので、毎日　水を　のみます。　それから、ごぜんく時に　クラスが　あるので、　あまり　あさごはんを　たべません。

サンクスギビング

サンクスギビングの休みに　フィラデルフィアに　いきました。　あにのうちに　いきました。　たくさん　ねて、　べんきょうして、　せんたくを　して、テレビを　みました。　ゆっくりを　しました。　ねるのが　すきですが、　おきるのは　あまり　すきじゃありませんでした。

サンクスギビングの日に　ともだちのうちに　いきました。　うちは　大きくて、　きれいでした。　ターキーや　ポテトを　たべました。　にくが　すきですが、　やさいは　すきじゃありませんでした。　ゲームをして、　よかったです。

Gooooooaaaaaalllll (part 2)

I have been reading new Japanese material out loud as I hoped I would, including a Japanese children's book that my father sent to me. I have also shadowed (formally and informally) much more material than expected.  This has helped me become more natural and improved my speaking speed (I hope).  Unfortunately, due to soccer, I have not been able to attend the language table more than once or twice.  I will work on changing that in the future.

For the rest of the semester, I want to continue to shadow for about an hour a week (10 minutes per day).  I would also like to visit the language table much more often and continue to make appointments with all the senseis.  In terms of quizzes, I would like to not miss a point on a vocab quiz from here on out (starting today).  If I study enough it should be possible. I am also going to talk to other Japanese students outside of class and make awkward conversation with them in Japanese until it starts sounding less awkward.
