I agree that the dramatic zoom effect was awesome. It really sets your video apart creatively from all of the other video blogs. The different levels of seriousness that you tried in your speech are also very interesting- until now I personally have been so focused on getting the basic pronunciation and pitch right that I've been completely ignoring all other features, like the "tone" of the words.
0:11 to 0:14 had me laughing out loud. Love the zoom. Also like the background choice for your blog.
